Bill
Crawford
Bill Crawford and his wife, Cheryl, own and operate Righteous Slice, an independent pizzeria in Rexburg, Idaho, recognized by Pizza Today magazine as one of 25 Pizzerias to Watch in 2023 and voted Rexburg’s Business of the Year in 2024. Bill has won several pizza making awards, including Grand Champion of the Real California Pizza Contest in 2023, First Place in the Real California Tournament of Champions Three Cheese Pizza contest, and numerous top three finishes in his region at the International Pizza Challenge.
Bill began his career as an Air Force fighter and bomber pilot in the F-16 and B-2 stealth bomber. He flew combat missions in the Middle East, including a 36-hour nonstop mission from Missouri to Baghdad and back, one of the longest nonstop combat sorties in history.
In 2004, Bill left the Air Force to get a master’s degree in business management from Harvard Business School with the dream of one day starting his own business. Bill later attended Tony Gemignani’s International School of Pizza and Roberto Caporuscio’s Neapolitan pizza course.
Bill finds making pizza every bit as thrilling as flying a supersonic jet fighter. He pushes himself to learn and improve, to express his creativity, and to teach and inspire others to reach their potential and find joy pursuing their passions.
Bill and Cheryl are the proud parents of six children and three grandchildren.
