Glenn’s passion for the culinary arts started as a child when he helped his father cook for large groups of friends and family. In 1986, he went to Italy for the first time where he gained culinary refinement over a ten year period. He graduated from the prestigious Scuola Italiana Pizzaioli, the oldest pizza school in the world, where he learned the craft of Neapolitan Pizza and became certified as a Pizzaiolo. Since, he has been recognized with 112 culinary awards nationally and internationally – including “World Pizza Champion” at the Citta Di Napoli world pizza competition in Naples, Italy – and is widely regarded as one of the Top 10 Pizzaiolos in the US. He has been in the restaurant business for over 25 years and has owned eleven restaurants in Northern California. Glenn has also consulted on over 50 other restaurant concepts.
