Born and raised in New Jersey, Melissa has a love for all of the amazing foods of the East Coast, but New  York Style thin crust pizza has always been what she is most passionate about.  

Melissa long had a dream to share with others the sights, sounds, smells, and flavors of the East Coast  eateries and in 2010 Melissa fulfilled her dream by creating and building Wholly Stromboli - An East  Coast Eatery and later The Speakeasy at Wholly Stromboli. 

Melissa fulfilled another lifelong dream by being selected as a member of the World Pizza Champions  team Melissa went on to become a successful competitor, writer, speaker, and educator for the industry  at events around the country. 

Since that time Melissa and award winning Wholly Stromboli have enjoyed many great successes.

 Melissa has gone on to guest host many TV and radio programs and continues to share her love for the  industry with others. Melissa’s passion for mentoring young people, helping other entrepreneurs in the  pizza industry and empowering women to pursue their dreams continues to be a driving force behind  Melissa’s community works.
