Hattan

Tara Hattan is the co-owner of Zasa’s Pizza and Wings. She first started working in a pizzeria when she had recently graduated high school at 16 years of age as a part-time job.

She realized how much she loved pizza and the history behind it, which is what led her to work for Andolini’s, owned by long- time World Pizza Champion member Mike Bausch. Tara went on to run the Broken Arrow location store relatively quickly. Tara then competed in the yearly Andolini’s Inner Store Competition known as “AndoMania” in the acrobatic contest, which left both Bausch brothers and the Andolini’s staff standing in their seats urging her to compete in Las Vegas at the World Pizza Games.

From there, Tara would become Andolini’s youngest Kitchen Manager and the youngest General Manager. In 2018 Tara competed in her first international competition in Las Vegas and did not place as well as she hoped. Tara trained relentlessly to come back next year to win the Acrobatic Preliminaries, a first for any female. Additionally, she competed in every other acrobatic competition and Neapolitan-style Pizza baking. The next night, a 22-year-old Tara Hattan was invited to join the World Pizza Champions. She has since competed worldwide, including Ohio London, and returned to Win 1st place in Las Vegas in 2021.

After many years of dedication, learning from, and sharing the same passion for pizza as Mike & Jim Bausch, they decided to join forces and go into business together and create Zasa’s Pizza & Wings in 2021. Zasa’s is owned by Tara Hattan in conjunction with the Bausch’s and is a NY Style Slice and Wing restaurant with an early 90’s aesthetic.
